Gas Safety Tips

  • Open the window to make sure there is good ventilation while cooking.
  • Gas stove should be places higher than gas cylinder.
  • The minimum safe distance between gas stove and cylinder is 1.0 - 1.8 meter.
  • Don't put the hot pot or hot objects on the gas cylinder.
  • Don't keep the gas cylinder in a closed air.
  • Make sure your kitchen always clean.
  • When you sense the smell of gas leaks and notice that insects crawling on the gas regulator, this means leakage of gas.
  • Turn off all sources of fire and don't touch electrical switch if there is a smell of gas leaks.
  • Don't let the gas cylinder lies on the floor.
  • Gas regulator is recommended to change every 5 years or earlier, however gas hose every 2 years.
  • Use soapy water to detect gas leakage.
  • Check gas regulator dan hose all the time.
